I started in the pool table business in 1994 working for Robertson’s Billiards Supply in Tampa, Florida and had the great pleasure of working with Howard McCleary who quickly became Wes's friend and mentor. In 1995 after my first year with Howard, I ventured out on my own and formed Billiard Fitter, working in poolrooms and performing service work in the Tampa Bay area. That is where I became associated with the local and national pool leagues.
Wes said "I always made it a point to contact table manufacturers and respected people in the business to seek their guidance and learn everything I could about the business. My first poolroom “Build Out” was performed in early 2000 in the New Tampa area of Tampa and my first Pro Tournament followed a couple months thereafter."
It was not much later that pool table manufacturers began contacting Wes to set up their tables for tournaments and private homes both nationally and internationally. His most recent travels this year have taken him throughout the US and internationally to Holland, Belgium, Germany and Greece.
